What is the average salary of a lobsterman?
Lobsterman can earn up to $50,000 per year.

How does the weather effect a lobsterman's salary?
People do not really know for sure if the weather during lobster season effects the lobster fishing. Statistically, the lobster fishing goes up in numbers of lobsters caught after storms. (Ann Hayden)

How does the price of lobster differ throughout the east coast?
In the north lobster is more expensive and valuable. In the Caribbean and areas such as Florida the cost of lobster per pound is about $13.50 in US currency. In Maine the lobster is more expensive and costs about $20.95 per pound in US currency. Sources say that the reason there is such a difference in price is because of the claws. Caribbean lobsters do not have claws. Many people say that the claws are the best part of the lobster so they buy lobster from the north causing they price in the north to go up because of supply and demand.

How do different season's effect the pay of a lobsterman?
Lobsterman work all year round, but the lobster are usually easier to catch starting in the spring. The prime month's for lobster harvesting is usually from the months of April and May to the end of the fall season. 80% of lobsterman's money is made in the months from late June all the way through August.
