How does eating lobster affect ones health?
Lobster is a very good food for one's health. Lobster has lots of protein which is very good for muscle growth and development. It has 20 grams of protein per 3 oz. An average lobster is 20 oz. so there is about 120 grams of protein in one lobster. There is also lots of vitamins and minerals in lobster. There is lots of vitamin E in lobster that reduces the risk of heart disease. There is also lots of calcium in lobster which is good for bone strength and development.

What type of lobster dish is the most popular?
Boiled lobster is the most popular lobster dish. Preparing this dish is very simple. If the lobster is about 1lb. you only need to boil it in salt water for roughly about 4 or 5 minutes and then you put it on ice and it is ready to eat. If you over cook the lobster, the meat will be very tough.

Why was lobster considered a jail food in the 1800's? 
The reason people gave lobster to jail people, was that they look like bugs or insects. They were also really easy to catch because they would be on the ocean shores and people could just come up and grab them.

How did lobster become such a delicacy?
People in the midwest were making railroads to the east and were unsure of what seafoods were good or not. They found the lobsters because they were easier to catch on the shores. The westerners loved the lobster and made it a delicacy.
